Bushenyi, 10th August 2024 – Valley University of Science and Technology has welcomed hundreds of new students this week, beginning 5th August 2024. The University campus is exciting with fresh energy as freshers arrive, eager to begin their academic journey. Registration for the new intake is currently ongoing, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for these students.
According to Mr. Boaz Tumusiime, the Dean of Students, orientation is ongoing and not a one-time event but a continuous process that begins as soon as students join the University. “Orientation is designed to help our new students acclimatize to university life. We ensure that they are well-informed and feel supported as they transition into their academic and social environments,” he explained.
Dr. Enos Rwasheema, the Vice Chancellor of Valley University, has stressed the importance of professionalism among the new students. “As future leaders and professionals, our students should dress like officers in the making. This instills a sense of responsibility and prepares them for the demands of their future careers,” Dr. Rwasheema emphasized.
