Mbarara University of Science and Technology is to host this year’s colour run for cancer. The 5km will be held at University sports pitch, August 3, 2024, at 7:00 am.
The event, aimed at raising awareness and funds for child cancer treatment otherwise referred to as pediatric cancer, bringing well-wishers and stakeholders of the institution together.
People can be involved in this noble cause as early as buying a round neck T-shirt at UGX 30,000 and a polo neck T-shirt at 50,000. T-shirts can be purchased at the cancer ward of Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital or the offices of Global Health Cooperative.
Funds collected will be donated to Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital to support cancer treatment among children.
