With the 2024/2025 academic year around the corner, first-year students, popularly known as “Freshers,” will have an opportunity to go through the university’s traditional “Orientation Week.” This acclimatization period helps new students settle into life in the university prior to the coming of continuing students.
Orientation Information:
- Duration: One week
- Purpose: Introduction of key University facilities and important aspects of University life
- Timing: Freshers report to campus one week earlier than continuing students.
This is the week when freshers are introduced to various libraries, lecture halls, sports complexes, and dining halls on their educational campus. They will be informed about all the procedures regarding their academics, the services and systems available for them regarding academics, and safety and extracurricular activities on the campus.
This is the time, Orientation Week, when freshers really feel comfortable and prepared for the academic journey ahead. It’s a time to make some great friends among fellow students, engage with faculty, and know about the rich cultures and traditions that make up life in university.
More updates and hints for Freshers as you join this wonderful new chapter!
