Makerere University has opened opportunities for part-time jobs within its Students Work Scheme aimed at giving students hands-on work experience while earning an income. The scheme will help students be better prepared for later employment, both within and outside the university. The Students Work Scheme is of great importance to ensure that students strike a balance between education and professional development through the application of acquired academic skills in practical work situations.
In its newest advertisement, DFCU Bank has advertised six part-time positions for Digital Ambassadors. These jobs are based at the Makerere University Branch and will last for a period of three months.
Candidates to be considered for the job must:

- Have a normal academic progress with a CGPA of not less than 2.8.
- Have credits in both English and Mathematics.
- Prove that they have a strong passion for working and display a great attitude.
Eligible students are required to submit a cover letter, admission letter, CV, and a signed and stamped testimonial. Applications should be hand-delivered to the Students Work Scheme Coordination Office, Room No. 209, or the Dean of Students Office, Room No. 208, located in the Senate Building. Alternatively, they can be scanned and sent via email to bruce.byamukama@mak.ac.ug as one PDF document.
