Kyambogo University has published procedures for collecting their provisional admissions for the academic year 2024/2025. These steps are really necessary so that the new students joining the university will get their documents without any problem.
Step by Step Procedure of Admission Letters Collection:
Step 1: Document Verification
Requirements: As a student, move with the following original documents to the Faculty/School/Institute:
- Birth certificate
- O’ level (UCE) Original Result Slip and Certificate
- Original A’ level (UACE) Result Slip/Testimonial and Certificate
- Original Academic Transcript and Certificate (for Certificate/Diploma/Degree holders)
- Former School/College/Institution Identity Card
Step 2: Admission Letter Issuance
Upon ascertaining the student’s admission status accordingly, the Faculty/School/Institute Registrar shall automatically generate an Admission Letter for the student.
Drawing Of Action: The student shall, therefore, sign and return one copy on the Commitment Section at the back of such an Admission Letter and shall duplicate the Admission Letter so issued. The student shall keep the original Admission Letter.
Step 3: Student Portal Activation
How to: Log in and Activate portal of student using details on Admission Letter
Why: Applicant will now be able to enrol at the University and benefit from other services they require
Where: Online on https://myportal.kyu.ac.ug
Requirement: Through enrolment, students confirm their attendance for this semester
Step 4: Certificate of Enrollment
After completion: from the above, you should be able to obtain the Certificate of Enrollment from your portal.
Submission: Submit the Enrollment Certificate to the Registrar of the Faculty/School/Institute as proof of enrollment
