Zari Hassan, a businesswoman based in South Africa, has come out to apologize publicly for airing her private matters with her husband, Shakib Cham, on social media. This couple, who had been under much speculation, barely some days ago made headlines after what looked like an apparent clash following a visit by Diamond Platnumz to Zari’s home in South Africa.
On August 10, netizens arguably saw an escalation in arguments between Zari and Shakib, with Shakib looking quite unhappy. This time, there was a video seemingly of Zari jesting with her husband and exposing some private issues that sparked rumors among netizens that they had parted ways.
However, over the weekend, those rumors were put to rest as Zari and Shakib were spotted out and about together in Uganda, putting on a united front. In an interview, Zari confessed to having regrets over the incident, explaining that she used the wrong platform to vent her frustration.
“I have a husband, but sometime back I said crazy things, as you might have seen. As a normal person, you reach a point where you are challenged. Things happen; Allah created us that way-we all make mistakes. But when you reflect, you can see your wrongs. Truly, I made a mistake. I had my frustrations to the point of venting on social media. I broke down on the wrong platform,” Zari confessed.
Zari explained that when she sat down and rethought her actions, she felt exposing private issues in social media was wrong and needed to make amends. The apology indicates that she is aware of her mistakes and seeks to right her wrongs with her husband.
