In a great show of support to the country’s fresh talents, the Uganda Aviation Academy has offered scholarships to the current Miss Uganda and her two runners-up. This kind gesture was revealed at a function held yesterday as Capt. Mike Mukula, one man who spearheaded the implementation of aviation in Uganda, handed over the scholarships to the lady winners of the pageant.
Capt. Mukula, who is committed to talent nurturing and education support, told The Independent that he is exhilarated for the queens and is excited about their bright future. He also indicated that with education and training, then joining the workforce was the basis for any beautiful and profitable career and guaranteed the continued support to the winners.
These scholarships from the Uganda Aviation Academy offer the queens an opportunity to realize their aviation educational dreams and reflect the academy’s commitment to raising a generation of young talent and a culture of excellence in Uganda.
