As a sign of appreciation, Sports Uganda-UK Limited has delivered a consignment of embedded systems support equipment to Nkumba University. This was in recognition of the role the university played in hosting their annual ‘Ubuntu Festival’ over the weekend.
Mr. Andrew Byekwaso, the CEO of Sports Uganda, thanked the university, saying, “Through you, Vice-Chancellor, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Nkumba University for supporting us. Please convey our appreciation to the sports tutor, media team, Dr. Kasse, and everyone who stood with us from start to finish.”.
The Vice-Chancellor of Nkumba University, Professor Jude Lubega, appreciated the continued partnership with Sports Uganda, saying, “The equipment you have contributed will drive our skills development programmes.”
This is the fourth donation Sports Uganda-UK is making to Nkumba University. Other donations included sports items and embedded systems robotics. Robotics equipment were delivered on 8 April 2024.
