Natasha Nyonyozi has been crowned as Miss Uganda 2024/25 on the 3rd of August, 2024, in a colorful ceremony held at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala. This 23-year-old beauty queen, hailing from Kabale district, has triumphed so much over that wonderful achievement locally and nationally.
Elated at the very decorated title, Nyonyozi took to X to express her overwhelming gratitude: “OVERWHELMED WITH GRATITUDE! I would like to take this opportunity and thank EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has been there for me in this journey of becoming MISS UGANDA 2024-2025! Nyonyozi’s win was hugely received back in her home district, with various dignitaries and local figures congratulating her. Her journey to the crown is something that has been so held and dear to her; in past interviews, she narrated having aspired to win the title since she was 10 years old.
David Bahati, the NRM Chairperson for Kabale and Minister of State for Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives, cum MP for Ndorwa County West, expressed his excitement thus:

Natasha Nyonyozi replaces the current Miss Uganda 2023/24, Hannah Karema Tumukunde. The first runners-up were Suraya Umeimah Bashuaeb, while Joan Nabatanzi became the second runner-up.
Nyonyozi’s win was a momentous moment for Kabale district, setting a new precedent in the beauty pageant arena. As she takes her reign, focus is likely to remain on using her platform to inspire and drive change for good with the support and pride of her community.
