MUBS has begun issuing issuing admission letters to government-sponsored students for the academic year 2024/2025. According to the message from the Office of the School Registrar dated July 16, 2024, the process detailing how students will collect their admission letters from their respective faculties is hereby sent.
Process for Admission Letter Collection
According to the advert, students admitted to the university on government sponsorship are required to bring their A-level identity cards from former schools to retrieve their admission letters. These letters are on purposes of formalizing one’s admission into the program of choice at MUBS, something which becomes essential during the registration process.
Specific Instructions for Different Admission Categories
- District Quota, Diploma Holders, Appeals: Admission letters for students admitted through the District quota, diploma holders’ scheme, and those who successfully appealed their admissions are pending issuance from Makerere University. Once received, these letters are going to be dispatched accordingly.
- Students under the Disability Scheme: Students admitted under the Disability Scheme will pick their admission letters from Senate Building, Level 3, Committee Room 1, Makerere University.
Important Notes
- It is particularly noted that letters of admission are issued free of charge; any one soliciting fees for the same be reported immediately to the office of the Registrar, MUBS, on telephone number +256-414-338140.
- Students may still regularly check their email account and MUBS website for a notice of readiness of their admission letter and other related instructions.
