The Office of the School Registrar, Makerere University Business School, wishes to inform new entrants in the Diploma and Certificate programmes changing to another study programme or campus for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Procedure for Changing Programme/Campus:
- Log into Student Portal: Visit the student portal at http://myportal.mubs.ac.ug.
- Login Credentials: Your student number is to be used as the username and password (for example, username: 240058947, password: 240058947).
- Click on the link “Services”.
- Apply for Services: Click “Apply for Services.”
- Change of Programme/Campus: Click “APPLY FOR CHANGE OF PROGRAMME/CAMPUS.” Refer to the programme codes since there are programmes with similar names but offered in different campuses.
- Fill in change of programme: Select current programme, new programme applied for, study time, campus, academic year, give a reason for change, and click “Submit application.”
- Make Payment Reference Number (PRN): Click on “Make payment reference” to generate a PRN. Go ahead and make payment against this PRN to meet the application fee of UGX 6,000 plus any bank charges.
The application system will be open to applicants from Tuesday, August 13, 2024, to Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
