Makerere University Business School, MUBS, has released its shortlists of MBA applicants to sit for the Graduate Admission Test. The important test is scheduled to take place on July 20, 2024, at the main campus of MUBS in Nakawa. It will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Graduate Admission Test cannot be said to be another milestone in the admission process, but it acts as a filter to check the ability of prospective students for the academic and professional rigor of the program. Like before, applicants have been shortlisted under various categories for the respective type of MBA programs applied for, viz. the Modular and Evening tracks.

Importance of the Test
The Graduate Admission Test is designed to measure the applicants’ analytical, quantitative, and verbal skills that are pre-requisites for candidates to excel in the MBA program. It also serves as a benchmark to ensure that all candidates adhere to the intensive academic requirements set by MUBS.
MUBS seeks to ensure that there is an admission process that is transparent and also vigorously geared toward identifying the very best possible candidates that shall go through their further prestigious MBA programs. In this pursuit, the shortlisting exercise and preparation of the Graduate Admission Test being a critical step toward upholding the high academic standards for which MUBS is known.
