Singer Eddy Kenzo and fiancé Phiona Nyamutoro finally made it official on Saturday with a traditional introduction ceremony.
The function, held in Buziga off Ggaba road, was private and saw Nyamutoro, also the State Minister for Energy and Mineral Development, introduce Kenzo to her family.
Attended by only a close family and friends affair, the singer looked ordinary in traditional attire, while the bride was stunning in a colourful dress.
The two families sealed their union with blessings from their elders and friends.
Nyamutoro, who hails from Nebbi district, took it upon herself to share photos from the ceremony on social media and declared her love and appreciation for Kenzo.
“To much more laughter, unbounded joy and unprecedented love,” she posted.
She further posted, “The best man in the world is my best friend. Nebbi is so ready.”
Congratulatory messages have since been showered on social media by cheering fans and well-wishers for the two, wishing them a whole lifetime of joy and happy moments.
Kenzo confirmed his relationship with Nyamutoro in April when he revealed they had a child together.
Even though the couple is yet to announce their wedding date, one thing has always been clear: They are deeply in love and will surely live to their vows.
