Metropolitan International University has extended the normal registration period to allow students enough time to effect their registration without attracting penalties. The extended date now lies on 15th September 2024.
This, the university management has declared, is a move to help the high number of students still in the process of registering. The extension, they say, is meant to allow those who could not register because of long queues and other challenges to do so.
Students are, therefore, called upon to take this as the last opportunity to have their names registered before the deadline. The university has reiterated that this is the last opportunity for students to register without any penalty.
On the expiration of the new deadline, late registration will start on September 16th, 2024. Students registering late will have to pay a surcharge fee of UGX 100,000 in adherence to the university’s late registration policies.
The university management encourages all students who are yet to do so to proceed with their registration without further delay to avoid additional costs or other difficulties.
