In 2020, Esko, Minnesota, USA’s Trapp family earned the Guinness World Record for the tallest family in the world. Since then, no family has come closer to beating this amazing record. That family remains unbeaten with an average height of 203.29 cm (6 feet 8.03 inches).
The five members of the Trapp family—Scott, Krissy, Savanna, Molly, and Adam—are taller, combined, than half a tennis court. True to their height, three of the children were brilliant athletic performers, especially in volleyball and basketball, where universities recruited them for these sports.
Get to Know the Tallest Family Members:
- Adam Trapp – 23 years old, is the tallest at 221.71 cm (7 feet 3 inches).
- Savanna Trapp-Blanchfield – 28, measures 203.6 cm (6 feet 8 inches).
- Molly Steede – the youngest sister, 25, is 197.26 cm (6 feet 6 inches).

However, despite their record heights, the Trapp family faces a host of challenges. This has driven them to modify every simple situation, from passing through doorways to shopping for clothes, and even driving a car or using public transport.
For the Trapps, their height is an inspiration to urge people to love themselves just the way they are. They believe one should judge others by their character and not by looks, as no feature could ever define who a person truly is.
The entire Trapp family, with their enormous height and positivity, continues to stand tall—both literally and figuratively.
