Makerere University Business School informed members that there would be an exercise of manual registration by officials from Makerere University for first, second, and third-year students in various bachelor’s programs for the Academic Years 2022/2023, 2023/2024, and 2024/2025. This important exercise will take place at MUBS commencing on Monday, September 16, 2024, and will run until Friday, September 27, 2024.
The manual registration shall be carried out at Block 7, Room 1, and students are advised to adhere to the registration schedule to avoid inconveniences. It shall be done every day between 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

- Monday, September 16, 2024: Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science in Accounting
- Wednesday, September 18, 2024: Bachelor of Real Estate & Business, Bachelor of Science in Finance, Bachelor of Human Resource Management
- Friday, September 20, 2024: Bachelor of Leadership & Governance, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Entrepreneurship
- Monday, September 24, 2024: Bachelor of Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Bachelor of Business Statistics, Bachelor of Transport & Logistics, Bachelor of Business Computing
- Thursday, September 26, 2024: Bachelor of Office & Information Management, Bachelor of Leisure Events & Hotel Management, Bachelor of International Business, Bachelor of Travel & Tourism Management, Bachelor of Marketing
Documents to be Presented at Registration
At registration, the following original documents must be presented and photocopies made:
- Admission Letter
- Birth Certificate
- O-Level Certificate/Pass slip (UCE)
- A-Level Certificate/Pass slip (UACE or equivalent)
- Degree/Diploma Certificate/Transcript (Where Applicable)
- Proof of payment for the NCHE fee paid amounting to UGX 20,000
- Three photocopies each for both O-Level and A-Level certificates with a stamp from an awarding institution
- Three recent passport-sized photographs
Please note that identity cards from employers or national IDs are not accepted for registration. Only identity cards from previous institutions or colleges are accepted. The registration form from Makerere University will also be availed and must be filled in and submitted along with the original documents.
Why is this Important?
The registration process is important because students will be put into Makerere University’s system and can have academic services availed to them for the completion of their education. It is a mere formality that brings students within the fold of Makerere University’s administration and is very helpful in maintaining proper records and identification.
Students are seriously warned to comply with the regulations and the schedule of registration; otherwise, this will delay the process of their academic documents.
