Applications are hereby solicited for students in Kyambogo University. The notice and call for application to all students was released by the Chairperson, Students’ Work-Study Scheme Committee.
The work-study scheme is a program aimed at supporting Kyambogo University students who are currently enrolled but face financial constraints in footing the university dues. This scheme provides an opportunity for students to mobilize employment while studying to help them take care of their financial obligations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently Enrolled: One must be an ongoing student of Kyambogo University, either at the Main Campus or Learning Centres.
- Financial Requirement: An applicant must demonstrate inability to satisfy the university requirements at least by the time of the interview.
- Ability to Pay: A student must be able to satisfy at least 60% of what they are required to pay to the university.
- Exceptions: Students under Government Sponsorship or Government Loan Scheme, Kyambogo University Biological Students’ scheme, and Kyambogo University staff members are not covered by the policy above.
Interested students are supposed to apply most easily by making use of a Google Form, accessed through the Kyambogo University website and different student groups affiliated with the university.
Application Deadline: Tuesday, 27th August 2024, 5:00 p.m.
