John Katumba became popular when he emerged as the youngest candidate in the 2021 presidential elections in Uganda and has since issued a statement saying he will try his hand at politics once more.
He is known to many through the campaign slogan “Katumba Oyee,” and this former student seems more determined than ever to push through with the country’s vision. Reflecting on his previous presidential run, Katumba admits it was a tough experience, but he views it as an enormous chance to learn in view of the future of political contests.
Unlike those who enter politics to declare war on others, Katumba clarified, “I didn’t come into politics to start a war with anybody else,” adding that his mission has remained steadfast to win better policies for Uganda’s tomorrow and beyond.
His new effort to get back into the political scene has demonstrated his commitment to the development of the country, impelled by a yearning to fashion a more promising future for all Ugandans.
