Vocal events promoter Andrew Alfonse Mukasa alias Bajjo Events has accused the Uganda singer Moses Ssali, popularly known as Bebe Cool, of failing mature entry exams when he joined Makerere University.
During a recent interview on Kasuku Live, Bajjo shared his story from the time he decided to enroll for further studies at Makerere University. He says during this time, he met Bebe Cool, with both applying for admission through the mature entry scheme.
According to Bajjo, they were supposed to sit for mature entry exams, the normal procedure when one seeks admission to a university without the conventional academic qualifications. When the results came out, Bajjo says he and Bebe Cool’s wife, Zuena, passed and went on to register their respective programs, while Bebe Cool did not get the required grades and hence failed the exams.
Bajjo insinuated that this is what made Bebe Cool fail to go to the university, while he and Zuena proceeded with their studies at Makerere.
The promoter did not say what year this was meant to happen or the courses they were supposed to offer. It is also unclear whether Bebe Cool has responded to the claims by Bajjo.
Bebe Cool is an accomplished musician and one of the strong men in the Uganda entertainment industry, who has never commented on these allegations. As this story spirals, his fans and followers await his clarification or denial to statements of Bajjo.
