This is an event put forward by the 26th Guild Government and promises to be a very colorful event celebrating Uganda’s varied cultures in food, dance, tradition, and modern society.
It will start sharp at 8:00 AM. Students of different cultural backgrounds come together and showcase their own peculiar customs, traditional clothes, and performances. The event presents the opportunity for attendants to celebrate their cultures and learn about—or appreciate—the varied cultural backgrounds of their peers.
From the rhythmic beats of the traditional dances down to the wide array of local cuisines, the Annual Cultural Gala 2024 promises to be a day full of color and vibrancy in cultural pride. We therefore encourage students to reach out to their culture mates to discuss how best they can be represented and participate in this grand event for the representation of their culture.
The gala is a perfect avenue that provides a deeper understanding of the different cultures and rejoices in the unique identity shaping this university community. Whether you like to perform, share your culinary skills, or simply enjoy the party, this event should not be missed!
