ISBAT University has officially welcomed the new semester with a colorful orientation and induction program for the first-semester students, including those who enrolled through the university’s loan scheme. The orientation ushers in an exciting academic journey comprising a diverse group of students with different nationalities and academic interests.
This semester, the enrollment in different courses at ISBAT University had a high turnout, specifically those in the list of high-demand courses that included Networking and Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Accounting and Finance, and Business Administration (BBA). Increasing interest like this indeed sounds reflective of the university’s standing based on their state-of-the-art, industry-oriented curriculum.
Other requirements entail technical and healthcare courses, including BMIT, Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT), and engineering disciplines involving electronics and communication. These have grown progressively, further establishing the status of ISBAT University in the region as one of the leading providers of technical and healthcare education.
Orientation Program Highlights
The orientation program was headed by Fred Otunnu, the Director of Corporate Affairs at the Uganda Communications Commission. Otunnu insisted on discipline as a key factor in the development of success either at school or in life. He urged the students to uphold such values as integrity and commitment as they enter into their educational journey here at ISBAT University.
It becomes clearer as Mohamed Shameem, IT Head and Digital Marketer at ISBAT University, comments on the growing trend of students favoring to stay and have higher education locally rather than venturing abroad for the same. “More students have come to realize that the quality of education offered by ISBAT University indeed rivals international standard,” noted Shameem.
It has maintained its diversity in the student population, ranging from learners of different nationalities, which include a culturally rich environment at the university campus. It is electric on campus as these new students set out to achieve academic success in their field of choice.
We feel privileged to welcome the motivated and ambitious group of students and look forward to supporting them every step along the way,” Shameem added, exuding optimism for future success in store for the new intake of students.
As the orientation program at ISBAT University continues, it is further reaffirming its position as one of the leading higher learning institutions. The university has been offering a wide range of skills in various programs tailored towards making students highly productive in the modern job sector.
