The Academic Registrar, Makerere University, invites applications for admission to the Undergraduate Programmes under the Mature Age Entry Scheme for Private Sponsorship in the 2024/2025 Academic Year only.
Application Details
The application is preceded by a non-refundable fee of Shs. 50,000 plus a bank charge for Ugandans or $75 equivalent for international applicants. This should be paid at any bank used by the Uganda Revenue Authority after generating a Payment Reference Number (PRN).
The application is opened online through the institutional applications portal accessible at https://apply.mak.ac.ug
Eligibility
Eligible applicants for the application are those who passed Mature Age Entry Examinations held on 17th December 2022 and 24th February 2024. Any candidate who passed the exams mentioned above, but was not admitted on government or Private sponsorship for the 17th December 2022 sitting, and for Government sponsorship for the 24th February 2024 sitting. They are now eligible to apply for Private Sponsorship in admission for the Academic Year 2024/2025.
