Kyambogo University Faculty of Special Needs and Rehabilitation Announces Updated Fees for 2024/2025 Academic Year

Kyambogo University has released the final version of the fee structure for both undergraduate and graduate programs in the Faculty of Special Needs and Rehabilitation for the Academic Year 2024/2025. The following is a detailed schedule of tuition and functional fees for privately sponsored students:

Undergraduate Programs

1. Bachelor of Adult and Community Education (3 years)
   • Ugandans & East Africans: UGX 630,000 per semester
   • International Students: UGX 945,000 per semester
   • Functional Fees: UGX 250,000 payable every semester
   • Continuing Students, Year 2 & 3: UGX 572,000 for semester 2
   • New Students: UGX 497,000
2. Bachelor of Community Development and Social Justice (3 years)
   • Ugandans & East Africans: UGX 910,000 per semester
   • International Students: UGX 1,365,000 per semester
   • Functional Fees: UGX 250,000
   • Continuing Students, Year 2 & 3: UGX 572,000 for semester 2
   • New Students: UGX 497,000
3. Bachelor of Community-Based Rehabilitation (3 years)
   • Ugandans & East Africans: UGX 1,050,000 per semester
   • Functional Fees: UGX 250,000
   • Continuing Students (Year 2 & 3): UGX 572,000 for semester 2
   • New Students: UGX 497,000
4. Diploma in Community-Based Rehabilitation (2 years)
   • Ugandans & East Africans: UGX 350,000 per semester
   • International Students: UGX 525,000 per semester
   • Functional Fees: UGX 150,000
   • Year 1: UGX 572,000 for semester 2
   • Year 2: UGX 567,000
5. Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting (2 years)
   • Ugandans & East Africans: UGX 350,000 per semester
   • International Students: UGX 525,000 per semester
   • Functional Fees: UGX 150,000
   • Year 1 & 2: UGX 572,000 for semester 2
6. Diploma in Mobility and Rehabilitation (2 years)
   • Ugandans & East Africans: UGX 350,000 per semester
   • International Students: UGX 525,000 per semester
   • Functional Fees: UGX 150,000
   • Year 1 & 2: UGX 572,000 for semester 2
   • Note: Semester 2 fees include tuition and UGX 100,000 for examination. Internship fees for international students are UGX 375,000 and UGX 225,000 respectively.

1. PhD in Special Needs Education
   • East African Students: UGX 3,200,000 per semester
   • International Students: UGX 9,600,000 per annum
   • Functional Fees: UGX 1,332,000 per academic year
2. Master’s in Special Needs Education
   • East African Students: UGX 1,500,000 per semester
   • International Students: UGX 4,500,000 per annum
   • Functional Fees: UGX 1,232,000
3. Master of Disability Studies and Inclusive Development
   • East African Students: UGX 1,500,000 per semester

4. Master of Science in Ugandan Sign Language Translation and Interpreting
   • East African Students: UGX 1,500,000 per semester
   • International Students: UGX 4,500,000 per annum
