Uganda Martyrs University proudly announces the 30th Graduation Ceremony, which shall take place on 18th October 2024. It shall be a monumental one and, as such, a mega celebration of academic achievement at Nkozi Main Campus.
Expectation is that over 1,500 students shall graduate this year across various disciplines ranging from Business, Social Sciences, Education, Health Sciences among others. The theme of the first graduation in adopting was “Celebrating Our Heritage and Positioning UMU in the 21st Century,” emphasizing this continued role of contributing to the molding of future leaders and innovators for Uganda.
It is thus going to have the honour of the Deputy Speaker of Parliament in the person of Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, Guest of Honour, and therefore, makes this event more prestigious.
The University was established in 1993 and has since built a reputation for maintaining high academic standards with over 30 000 alumni who have contributed to the various sectors in Uganda and beyond.
The final list of graduands will be released shortly and hopefully contains details about the students graduating in this milestone event.
