Popular Ugandan comedian on Tiktok, CB Talker is set to compete for the post of Lord Councillor in Makindye West. The comic star, famously known for his comedy skits with the Tuli Bulala Family group, announced his bid on social media.
He will be contesting on the National Unity Platform ticket, promising to represent the interest of the youths for change. His candidature comes at a time when the NUP, spearheaded by Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine, is increasingly gaining momentum, especially with the youths who are desperate for change in Ugandan politics.
CB Talker recently met Bobi Wine to seal his commitment to the party and his political journey. The meeting is not far from an incident when, in a scuffle with the police, the latter suffered a leg injury, further highlighting the ongoing political struggles of Uganda.
The passion in the loss of patience due to delaying the leadership of the youth, which is expressed when he says, “tomorrow is today,” meaning it was now his time to serve as Lord Councillor for Makindye West.
