The Academic Registrar, Makerere University, invites applications to the Mature Age Entry Scheme Examinations for the Academic Year 2025/2026. The said examination is an entry point into various programmes at Makerere University for Ugandans, East Africans, and international applicants qualified by age.
Any applicant below 25 years of age as of 1st August 2025 will not be considered under the Mature Age Entry Examinations Scheme. The exams are scheduled to take place on Saturday, 14th December 2024, and applications should be submitted online through the Makerere University application portal: https://see.mak.ac.ug.

- Application Fee:
- UGX 210,000/= for Ugandans, East Africans (inclusive of South Sudan and the DRC).
- USD 75 or the equivalent for international applicants.
- Closing Date: Applications will be considered until Sunday, 17th November 2024.

- Source of Information: Applicants are warned to use only the documents and information issued directly from the Office of the Academic Registrar. No agents are permitted or authorized to solicit additional money/fees or offer coaching services.
- Application Procedure:
- Applications are received online through the system provided.
- Candidates should have a valid personal email address and not share login credentials to ensure further communication with the university.
- Exam Date Requirements: Candidates attending the exam on the scheduled date must bring a colored printout of the invitation letter with a visible passport-size photograph. Photocopies of invitation letters will not be accepted.
