The Office of the Academic Registrar, Makerere University, has just released its admission lists for the 2024/25 academic year. This includes results for candidates admitted to re-advertised programs and those whose appeals have been successful.
Admission Lists
Appeals – Bachelor of Education (External):
Candidates who earlier appealed for admission to the Bachelor of Education (External) are now able to see the list after its recent update, in order to establish whether their appeals were successful.
Diploma/Degree Scheme Appeals:
Applicants who applied under the Diploma/Degree Scheme whose first applications were unsuccessful, the admission lists now include the results for those who appealed.
Appeals-International Applicants:
The international students who had appealed their initial admissions decisions find their results in this list.
Appeals-Direct Entry (A’Level):
Student applicants who applied directly from A-level whose admission was contested can check if their appeals have been successful.
Supplementary Lists – Diploma/Degree Scheme for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery:
Additional lists for applicants who applied for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery under the Diploma/Degree Scheme are now out.
Re-advertised Programmes
Diploma/Degree Holders:
Holders of diploma or degree and who applied for the re-advertised programmes should check their admission status through this list.
International Applicants:
This is a list of admissions for international applicants who applied for the re-advertised programmes.
Direct Entry – Private Sponsorship (A’Level):
Those applicants who applied under private sponsorship for A-Level entry and are interested in programmes that were re-advertised, can view their admission status as listed here.
Bachelor of Valuation Re-advertised National Merit:
The list for the Bachelor of Valuation re-advertisement for national merit applicants is out.
