The ceremony to usher in fresh students will be held this Friday, 20th September 2024, in admission to Kyambogo University. The ceremony, which ushers in freshmen and women of the 2024/2025 Academic year, shall be held from Admissions Square, Quadrangle next to Main Hall West End, commencing at 1:00 pm.
During the invitation by the Academic Registrar, it is meant that all new students join this important ceremony that officially initiates them into the Kyambogo University community. This would provide an opportunity for the student to become accustomed to university culture and values, and academic expectations.
The university, therefore, announced that there will be no lectures for first-year students starting from 1:00 pm onwards to ensure full participation in the Admissions Ceremony. This event promises to be an important one that will give freshmen guidance and insight into university life as they begin their journeys at one of the leading institutions in Uganda.
Students are then reminded to be timely and engaged during the event because it sets the mood for their stay at Kyambogo University.
