Brief History
Kyambogo University was established through the Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act of 2001, following the merger of three institutions: Uganda Polytechnic Kyambogo, Institute of Teacher Education Kyambogo, and Uganda National Institute of Special Needs Education.

Reporting Procedures
- Resident Students: Report to the Hall Wardens immediately after admission.
- Non-Resident Students: Register with the Wardens of the assigned halls for residence purposes.
- Online Registration: Students must register online every semester through the university portal http://myportal.kyu.ac.ug/.
Fees Payment Regulations
- Fees structures are provided with admission letters and are also available on the student portal.
- All payments should be made to designated banks using reference numbers provided by the IFMS system.
