Kyambogo University invites online applications from Certificate and Diploma holders who are in-service teachers to its 2024/2025 In-Service Education Programmes, which will take place at Paidha Learning Centre. The interested applicants are invited to apply for the following external programs:
Programmes Offered
- Bachelor of Education Primary-External (BEPE)
- Requirements: Minimum of UCE certificate with at least 5 passes, trained as a Grade III teacher, and a Credit/Second Class Diploma in Education Primary or Teacher Education.
- Diploma in Education Primary-External (DEPE)
- Requirements: Distinction/Credit in Grade III Teachers’ Certificate in Primary Teacher Education or Competence Test, UCE with 5 passes, from a recognized institution.
- Bachelor of Pre-Primary Education-External (BPPE)
- Requirements: Credit Diploma in Education (Early Childhood Development), Early Childhood Education, or Pre-Primary Education from a recognized institution.
Application Details
- Eligibility: Applicants must have passed in the relevant subject with a Credit or Second Class Certificate/Diploma and also satisfied the requirements set for admission to UCE and UACE.
- Application Fee: The application fee is UGX 50,000 for Ugandans and East African Nationals. International applicants should pay $30 plus bank charges.
- Deadline: The Online application is due Friday, August 16, 2024, at midnight.
Important Notes
- Document Submission: Ugandan Applicants are required to submit original certified copies of their academic documents. International Applicants are required to submit photocopies of equated academic documents from UNEB/NCHE.
- Application Procedure: Applications are submitted online through the Kyambogo University application portal. Enter the programme code and not the full name of the programme.
- Help: Those with difficulties in online application may get help from Paidha Learning Centre or the Admissions Office at the Main Campus.
- Warning: Do not purchase documents from backdoor sellers. The Academic Registrar has not appointed any agent to ask for more money. Only official certified copies of the documents are accepted.
