Kampala International University (KIU) is pleased to announce that the bursary for the August 2024 intake is now open. The following applies to all applicants:
- Photocopy of the KIU Admission Letter: Submit one’s KIU admission letter for the purpose of proof of confirmation in the university.
- Letter of Recommendation: Obtain a recommendation from your District LC5, LC3, or Mayor. This is for verification of background and information and to support your bursary request.
- Bursary Payment: Pay the total bursary amount required for your program in any of the following percentages:
- 50% for programs that will last 1-3 years.
- 60% for programs that will last 4 years and above.
- 80% for in-service programs.
- Academic Document: Submit one photocopy of academic documents (S4 and above). Insufficient document submission and/or if a bank slip showing at least half payment of your bursary amount is found attached with your documents. Please attach one passport photo.
- Submission: Submit the above documents to the Bursary office in any of our campuses in person. Be aware that bursaries are first come, first served upon submission of proof.

- Submission Deadline: All application documents must be submitted on time because the bursary is issued on a first scholars to apply, first served plan.
