The young rapper Kapilipiti Omubaya’s career in music is gaining momentum, as has been evidenced by his recent trips to the USA with the dancing group, the Hyper Kids. The trips to the United States were majorly to attend the America’s Got Talent competition, but along the way, it also presented Kapilipiti with exclusive opportunities that added more fuel to his ambitions.
During the trip in the United States, Kapilipiti and his group got a chance to tour the late Michael Jackson’s house, seeing some of the popular clothes that Jackson had worn to film his eternal music video of “Thriller,” among other things like his famous red jacket and gloves. This was already a big achievement for a budding career in Kapilipiti’s life.
However, the climax of this journey was when they met Senegalese-American singer Akon. Kapilipiti and Akon spent some good time brainstorming several ideas, including the possibility of a music collaboration. Interaction with Akon has given Kapilipiti hope for the future now that he wants to meet his two other musical heroes, Chris Brown and Justin Bieber.
In his recent interview, Kapilipiti had named his favorite stars with whom he would like to meet: Chris Brown and Justin Bieber. On the back of recent successes and a growing network of contacts in the music industry, surely it must seem as if that dream may well be within reach. Kapilipiti believes that so long as he is still working hard and striving toward effort, one day he may find himself rubbing shoulders with the two global superstars, further taking his musical career to greater heights.
