The Makerere University Guild President, H.E. Lubega Vincent Nsamba, has announced that the Bazaar to be held at the university campus will now run extended hours. A letter dated today, from the Office of the Guild President addressed to the management specified that the Bazaar will now run until 9 pm each day.
This readjustment boasts the commitment of the university to the service of the interests of the student body, such that the event is more fun and flexible, the Bazaar’s hours are extended, and there are more opportunities for the student body members to take part in many activities and amplify their experience of what the event offers.

In his letter dated August 6, 2024, Vice Chancellor Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe allowed the extension the Guild requested. The new timings will have the Bazaar open between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., and the Guild shall work towards ensuring security and order during this extension period.
