Bishop Stuart University mourns the passing of Ian Ayebare, a final-year student who was pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education. Indeed, one Ayebare, registered as 21/BSU/BSCED/0075, reportedly got an attack from an unknown gang on his way to hostel residence. The assailants allegedly mugged and wounded him to death.
The fraternity of BSU is still in shock and grief from the loss of this young promising scholar who was about to complete his studies. A funeral service for him, therefore, has been organized and is scheduled to take place today at the university main hall. Thereafter, the body of Ayebare will be taken to Kambuga, Kanungu District, for burial.
Condolences have also been given to Ayebare’s family by the administration, staff, and students of BSU, and they are truly saddened by this loss. The university remains in a state of one accord in their bereavement with the untimely demise of one among them.
